A peaceful and cozy retreat with a lovely log burner, perfect for a winter getaway. The hosts, Mary and Mark, were welcoming and kind. The self-catering facilities were fantastic, and the private outdoor space with seating and a barbecue was a great bonus. The underfloor heating kept the cottage warm, and there was a thoughtful collection of books and DVDs. The location is ideal for exploring North Devon, and we can't wait to return in warmer weather!

What a cozy and delightful Christmas escape! The cottage was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The wood-burning fire created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for snuggling up with a book or enjoying a festive movie night. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome package with milk, bread, butter, and even a bottle of prosecco! The location was superb, with easy access to stunning seaside resorts and the nearby RHS Rosemoor gardens. The peaceful and tranquil surroundings provided the ideal setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
While the cottage itself was lovely, we did encounter a few minor inconveniences. The path to the cottage was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark, as there were no signposts or adequate lighting.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy and beautifully presented cottage. Mary's communication was excellent, ensuring we had a smooth check-in. the location may be a bit tricky without a car, but the surrounding garden and stunning views made up for it. the private outdoor space with seating and a barbecue was a great bonus. the bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge was a warm welcome surprise. a peaceful and secure retreat for relaxation or study.
Signage to the property could be better.

The location of the hotel was quite peaceful and the surroundings were lovely. the cottage itself was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and compact space for a relaxing stay. the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch and a welcome treat after a long drive. the property had beautiful views of the countryside, adding to the overall appeal.
Finding the hotel was a challenge as there were no signposts from the road and the entrance was poorly lit. the lack of lighting made it difficult to navigate the farm track, and stumbling in the dark resulted in a twisted ankle.

The value for money at this place was amazing, and the room itself was cozy and well-designed. The location was idyllic, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, and Mary and Mark were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings better would be a wider variety of options.

The Potting Shed provided a private and cozy accommodation with beautiful furnishings and a powerful shower. The kitchen had all the essentials for simple meals and the garden offered a lovely view and comfortable outdoor seating.
The lack of clear signage, making it difficult to find the property from the road.
